My Story
The Day Everything Changed
When I was 15 years old, my father had a stroke. He was only 49—still so young. Before that, he was a hardworking businessman, doing electrical sales and supply. He always believed in learning and improving himself. I still remember him listening to video cassettes to learn English.
Making a Difference
I never want what happened to my father to happen to anyone else. That’s why I’m so passionate about honestly sharing the integrity of insurance. I want to help others protect what’s most important to them, and at the same time, be able to spend time with my family. It’s not just about making money—it’s about having time for the people I love, and making a difference in someone’s life
A Stroke and A Broken Promise
After his stroke, he stayed in the hospital for 3 months. Our family spent almost RM300,000 on medical expenses. But what made it even harder was. My father had bought insurance, but somehow, the premiums were never paid. It seems that the agent never submitted them. When we needed it most, there was nothing to claim. It was a very painful time for me and my family.
Could Insurance Be My New Path?
Later on, I worked in banking for 7 years. When I gave birth to my daughter, Isabelle, I was breastfeeding, and wanted to spend more time with her. But I was always too tired or too busy because of work. Banking gave me quite a stable income, but I didn’t have time for my family. I wanted something that could give me both.

My Story
Turning Point
By a twist of fate, I met a lady who would change the course of my life—my IO.
She introduced me to the insurance industry. At first, I was resistant, later when I had lost in my
previous job and I craved for a change. I decided to give this opportunity a chance. I started with
the mindset of learning, with nothing to lose.
The Journey
I took my first step into entrepreneurship, but the beginning was not easy. I faced many obstacles
and challenges along the way. The journey has been full of ups and downs, yet I’m not alone.
With the support and guidance of my team, I managed to overcome every obstacle because I
believe each one makes me stronger and better. There were moments when I wanted to give
up—but every time, I reminded myself why I started.
Where I Am Today
Today, after ten years in this industry, I’ve been promoted to Agency Manager. I’m deeply grateful
for the opportunity my IO once gave me, and now I’m committed to paying it forward—empowering
others who are ready to change their lives and inspiring more people along the way
